Every deck below carries the same sixty-four faces — three animals per pattern, shadow into glow into light. What changes is the back: the surface, the story, and how much of your own hand is in it.

Wave One — Ready to Shuffle

The Feather Deck

Before there was an arc(k), there were seven flaming flamingos, standing in a lake, turning poison pink. Twenty-one-and-1/3 patterns, sixty-four hand-painted faces, printed and tied by the Captain, arriving complete and ready to shuffle. This is the Feather Deck, the first of three. Two more are still being painted. Every order ships with a numbered print signed by hand and a carrying pouch.

Paint Your Own Arc(k): The Sovereign Sheets

This is an unfinished deck, not a blank one. Four sheets arrive with all sixty-four faces of Wave One, the first of three, already printed on the same archival watercolor paper used for every gallery print. The backs are open. Lay the sheets flat, paint across all of it at once the way the Captain does before every Commission Deck, then cut along the lines.

Somewhere in this deck is a painting that used to be whole — one hour of paint moving without a plan, then cut into sixty-four pieces from Wave One, the first of three, and bound in cotton twine, kept in a drawstring bag. No two Commission Decks share a back. This one is numbered. It will not be numbered again.
