My kid needed me to be there more than the world needed me somewhere else.
So I stayed home with him last year.
School wasn't working for him. We're a neuro spicy household, all of us, if I'm honest. My wife works full time as a teacher. Someone needed to be the one who stayed, and that someone was me.
We lived off what the universe provided, month to month. Somehow it was always enough.
Between the to-dos and tasks, I made time to grow and paint. Spent time becoming whoever I'm supposed to be next.
This year I'm doing it again.
You clicked because something stopped you.
You're in the right place.
What This Is
I paint animals in threes.
Not randomly. I pull three together because together they teach something more than just a single animal can.
The animals came to me through the tradition of the dream arc. I painted my own understanding of the connections into each image and triptych; the underlying structure is an exploratory map for conscious growth.
- One animal shows you the part of yourself you might have avoided....
- One animal shows you the glow-up hiding inside that same pattern that's running.
- One animal shows you what it looks like when it's expressing the pattern in fullness...
Put the three side by side and you've got a whole growth-arc.
A way of practicing refinement, or exquisiteness, or boundlessness, or the kind of authority that only comes from having lived through a thing instead of reading about it.
The images do their job through the eyes, whether you're sitting still with your coffee or catching thirty seconds between one thing and the next.
I've been matching them this way for a while now. The lessons keep showing up whether or not anyone's watching for them.
Why The Physical Matters Too
Last October, my walking buddy Dennis and I got talking about how the new world we're finding ourselves in is going to require actual neighbors. Not 'followers' or 'fans'. Neighbors. People who wave, who ask for things, who offer things, who know your name.
We were on one of our walks when we saw them. Grasshoppers, everywhere, all at once. I said, I painted a grasshopper not long ago, part of a set I'd been working on. I went home and re-read what I'd written about it.
I printed the set. Three animals, a poem. Signed them. Tied them in twine. Dropped them in mailboxes, no ask, no pitch. Just an introduction from the guy who'd been walking past your house every morning for six years.
We delivered to over 150 houses that week.
Tom is always out in his garden now when I come through. Mike works from home, we talk through the fence. Krystal texted to say the art meant something to her. I've got a dozen stories just like this.
That's what a real object does when it finds the right person. It's not a following. It's a neighborhood.
What arrives!
Every month is an alchemical initiation into the great mystery...
It comes with a PDF guide to Alchemy and instructions for how to practice....
You do a real, physical activity that matches the animal images and practice alchemy;
The guide walks you through each image and shows:
- a part of yourself you're running from.
- a opportunity hiding inside that instinct.
- What life looks like once you've made peace with it.
You also get handmade - signed prints and the poem to "Lock it in" in your life...

- A kraft envelope with the Arc(k) mark pressed into it Inside, a black envelope with a golden wax seal
- Inside, a black envelope sealed in gold wax Three hand-painted prints tied in cotton twine
- A handwritten poem, the thread that ties all three into one arc Words on the back of each print. Not instructions. Invitations.
You untie it slowly. The first animal. The second. The third. You don't know why this particular pattern arrived this month. But something about it is exactly right.
4.5" x 6" prints on archival paper. Hand-signed. Chosen for you by the Captain.
Unwrapping this was a whole-ass experience. The wax seal, the twine, the animals all working together — I could feel the thought that went into every single set. And I love every bit of it.

I've never received something so personal in the mail. The teachings on the back gave me a lot to think about. It's just beautiful.

I showed them to my sister when she was last in town. She didn't fully get it, but I did. It felt like I was on the inside of a secret.

Who Makes This
I'm Jeremy. Most people around here call me Captain Jezzatron.
I stayed home with my son last year. Public school wasn't working for him, so he came home, and I was the one who stayed with him. I know what it's like to wonder if the work you're doing counts because nobody's paying you for it.
It counts.
In the staying, I started painting. By hand. One at a time. In a room without an algorithm, usually with a kid doing schoolwork one room over.
The Arc(k) is what the staying made. A vessel built from old timber. The I Ching. The wisdom traditions. The hermetic knowing. The witchy ancient memory of what human beings have always used to navigate a season that asks everything of them.
Every print I ship, my hands made. No warehouse. No algorithm. No middleman. Just the work, the mail, and you on the other side.
