It never was.

Alchemy is the practice of transmutation. Taking the heaviest, most stuck part of you and turning it into fuel. Every tradition that's lasted more than a century has some version of this process. The I Ching calls it change. Jung called it individuation. The animals call it something older than language.

Here's the part most teachers skip: transmutation isn't a thought. It's a practice. You do it with your hands, your eyes, your attention, often with a physical object you can hold. Not something you journal about once and forget.

That's what the Arc(k) is built for.

I hand-paint animals in sets of three. Each set is one pattern. One theme.
