Article VI of VII
Known by Its Fruits
How you test it.
This path can be tested in your own life. A practice is true for you when it makes you kinder, clearer, braver and more consistent.
Two drifts pull against this. Magical thinking claims results nobody can check. Cynicism refuses to look at real results when they show up.
So we test honestly. We notice what shifts in how we live, and we name it plainly. We share our fruits with each other without inflating them. We give a new practice enough time to bear fruit before we judge it, and we let go of practices that bear none, even beloved ones. Each kept promise adds to our self-trust.
