Life moves in cycles of growth and contraction, birth and death. Everything you disowned is material for the work.
There are two ways to miss this. Spiritual bypassing uses the light to skip the shadow. The improvement treadmill turns growth into endless self-correction.
Our practice is return without punishment. We name our shadow openly, and we celebrate our wins out loud. We fall off the practice, and we come back. When we miss a week, we start again the next day without making up for it or punishing ourselves.
